A perfect choice for both short and long stays, this hotel is situated on Magheru Boulevard, affectionately known as the heart of Little Paris. It’s ideally located less than 1 km from the Old Center and a mere 200 meters from the Romanian Athenaeum. The hotel’s blend of modernist design and Art Deco elements infuses the public spaces and rooms with a unique beauty and historical charm. My executive suite was a true highlight—spacious, perfectly soundproofed, and luxuriously furnished. The excellent air conditioning was essential during Bucharest’s hot summer days. The suite featured a well-appointed desk, a minibar, and tea and coffee making facilities, catering perfectly to both leisure and business travelers. Additionally, the spacious dressing room and décor seamlessly combined contemporary style with the elegance of Interwar Bucharest, offering a delightful ambiance. The value for money here is outstanding. The hotel's hard product—its physical attributes and amenities—are top-notch, with competitive pricing for such a modern and luxurious experience. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the human factor. The staff, from housekeeping to the reception team, are exceptionally professional, friendly, and always ready to assist. In summary, this hotel offers an excellent balance of modern comfort and historical elegance, complemented by impeccable service. It’s a place I will undoubtedly return to every time I visit Bucharest, making it my top recommendation for anyone traveling to this vibrant city.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Phoenicia. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Upon check-in, I received a complimentary room upgrade, which was such a lovely surprise. They also gifted me a bottle of champagne- which was such a nice gesture. The staff were friendly and kind, ensuring every interaction was warm and welcoming. On my departure day, they allowed me to extend my checkout time, which gave me the chance to relax a bit longer before my flight. The room was immaculate and beautifully designed. Combined with the exceptional service, it’s clear that the team genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience for their guests. I recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Bucharest.

Our room (Executive Suite) was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We had a big round bath, a small dressing area, hairdryer, hot water, good bathroom products as well as bathrobes, slippers and charging points by the bed. The hotel and reception staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel receptionist was so helpful in arranging a pick up breakfast bag , as we had to leave early) for a sightseeing trip. The hotel breakfast was very fresh, there was a selection of cold and hot food./ drinks. The hotel is on a main road so there is some road noise.. Only a short (10 min) walk from the old town and Piata Universitatii were some of the daily bus trips departed from. We would recommend the hotel Lido by Phoenicia. Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

The original lido is still visible at the back of the hotel, would be great to see that cleaned up and utilised once more. Loved the original decor throughout the hotel and the rich palette of colours used in a world where muted tones seem to be the go to choice. My bag missed the connecting flight in Amsterdam - the reception staff were super helpful in communicating with the airport on this. Excellent central location, you can walk to all points of interest, theatres etc. The concert hall very close by is well worth a visit - I was lucky enough to sit in on an orchestral rehearsal which was just fabulous!

From the moment I arrived nothing was too much trouble, I had my bags carried to my room and was told about the history of the hotel. Each time I left or entered the hotel entrance the door was opened for me and I was told to have a pleasant day. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, buffet style with an enormous amount of choice. Perfect cocktails in the bar and the option to eat in the on site restaurant if required. When leaving for the airport to go home a taxi was arranged for me with no fuss which arrived within minutes, I was walked to the taxi and my luggage placed in the vehicle.
